Adopt an Angel Fund
Special Angels of The Woodlands
Today is #GivingTuesday – a day when charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving.
Join us in the movement by making a special year end gift to Special Angels of The Woodlands Adopt an Angel Fund.
The Adopt an Angel Fund provides tuition assistance for adults with intellectual disabilities who would like to attend the Special Angels of The Woodlands Day activity center but have difficulty paying their tuition.
You will play a significant role in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities by assisting them in their efforts to remain active in their community. Your gift will make a tremendous difference to them!
Each Angel spends less than $50 per day to attend our center. Client tuition covers 43% of the operating budget. To keep tuition manageable for families, the remainder of their program costs is raised through aggressive fundraising efforts by the all-volunteer SAW Board of Directors.
Please join me, and those who support Special Angels of The Woodlands, by donating today. Giving Tuesday maybe over, but you can still Give Today!
Your Support Means the World to Us!
GIVING TUESDAY MAY BE OVER BUT YOU CAN STILL HELP US OUT!

Ms. Thelma Braddock
In Memoriam, A Note From Our Beloved Founder
My name is Thelma Braddock. For the last 40 years, I have worked with people of all ages who have mental and physical challenges.
I, and another very experienced lady, started a program for these adults. We wanted a program where the clients could meet for a few hours a day, instead of just sitting at home with nothing to do. Not only is this helping the clients, it is giving the care givers respite for a few hours a day. With God’s help and a lot of wonderful people, we have been able to grow this program over the years.
I am very thankful for the wonderful volunteers that have helped the program grow. They, too, share our common goal and love. I feel honored and blessed to be a part of this endeavor and look forward to many more wonderful times and other endeavors as we keep growing.
